Summer 2014 is now past ... thankfully!

5 October 2014
I've moved...again...for what I hope to be the last in my lifetime. At least, until I'm no longer able to care for myself. However, I would consider it a great blessing if the Lord takes me out of this life before I become incapacitated.

I'm still struggling with a disorganized home. Oh, it functions well enough for the time I spend in it, but I hope to sometime or other have the ability to enjoy and share peace and creativity in my own environment.

Jane and Ben continue to fill my days with their schedules.
Ben enjoys Troop 19 scouting activities, having just had an overnight camping/merit badge event. He constantly talks about and plans camping.

Jane broke her left upper arm on September 14th, which has drastically interrupted her independence. After almost a month and no way to immobilize the arm, she is still having difficulty moving without great pain.

I'm now using a CPAP machine! I did not ever believe using one of these machines would help me, but I finally agreed to take a sleep test and, what do you know, I was sold. Having that air pumped deep into my lungs really felt good!

Next, is to do something about my weight! I've just discovered the meetings held in Salina for Overeaters Anonymous! I'll check it out!
